Moran Cerf 


Moran Cerf is an American-French-Israeli neuroscientist, professor of business at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and the academic director at Columbia Business School Executive Education¹². He is also the founder of Think-Alike and B-Cube, and the host and curator of PopTech¹. 


Cerf holds a PhD in neuroscience from Caltech, an MA in Philosophy, and a BSc in Physics from Tel-Aviv University¹². His research uses methods from neuroscience to understand the underlying mechanisms of our psychology, behavior changes, emotion, decisions, and dreams². Specifically, his research focuses on identifying what makes content engaging and how to create narratives that capture our attention².
